Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathaniel Easter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Robbins! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robbins looks to score with a jab to the body but Easter is just out of range. Robbins connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Easter's hands. Robbins lands a body shot.
Robbins scores with a hook to the body. Easter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Robbins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Robbins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A shot to de liver by Robbins. Beautiful body shot. Robbins wants to clinch. Easter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Robbins.
It looks like Nathaniel Easter has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Robbins drives through and clinches with Easter against the cage.
Robbins is looking to break free of the clinch but Easter has double underhooks. Robbins tries to circle away but Easter has him pinned against the cage. Robbins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Robbins lands with a nice body punch. Easter is breathing heavily. Robbins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Robbins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Easter's head backwards. A jab lands there for Robbins. Robbins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Easter slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robbins drops Easter with a beautiful combination! Easter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Robbins is looking for the KO!
Easter is rocked! Robbins fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Easter to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Easter looks to clinch but Robbins throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Easter taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Kane Robbins!
