Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kjell Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bambam Rubble! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubble shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dillon pinned against the cage. Dillon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dillon looks for a takedown but Rubble sprawls well. Dillon looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dillon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kjell Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rubble keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dillon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dillon lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rubble's sensitive parts. Dillon shoots in and drives through. Rubble sprawls well. That's one minute gone in the round. Rubble stuffs the takedown attempt from Dillon. Dillon gets slowly back to his feet. Dillon is breathing heavily. Rubble misses with a leg kick and Dillon counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rubble keeps control of Dillon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dillon wants to stall.
Rubble wants to break free but Dillon has control.

Rubble is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rubble has Dillon up against the cage in a clinch.
Rubble has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dillon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Dillon rolls, trying to escape but Rubble keeps control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillon trying to control the action but Rubble just sinks the hooks in. Rubble is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rubble fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rubble circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bambam Rubble dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rubble on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dillon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rubble's waist but Rubble gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dillon off to one side. A punch combination from Rubble misses. Dillon moves in looking to clinch but Rubble pushes him off. Rubble misses with a head kick.

Dillon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rubble scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rubble wants to stand up but Dillon is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dillon wants to control but Rubble is keeping busy.
Rubble really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rubble is looking to clinch. Dillon fails with the takedown. Dillon tries to clinch but Rubble moves out of range. Dillon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rubble sprawls well initially but Dillon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dillon wants to control but Rubble is keeping him busy. Dillon is looking to advance position but Rubble won't allow it. Rubble is looking to control Dillon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rubble avoid being mounted? Dillon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rubble keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubble tries to get to full guard but Dillon has control of the leg. Rubble is staying active underneath Dillon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dillon throwing shots but Rubble is blocking nicely.

Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rubble looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillon is fending him off so far but Rubble persists. Nope, Dillon circles away and we're back to standing. Rubble misses with a double jab.
Rubble has closed the distance and engaged Dillon in a clinch.

Bambam Rubble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Dillon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Rubble tries to bum rush Dillon with a series of wild strikes but Dillon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dillon closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rubble stuffs the takedown. Rubble tries to clinch but Dillon moves out of range. Rubble misses with a looping right. Dillon looks to score with a jab to the body but Rubble is just out of range. Rubble rushes Dillon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rubble tries to pull guard but Dillon holds him up against the cage and eventually Rubble drops back down to his feet.

Rubble goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A punch combination from Rubble misses. Dillon connects with a solid leg kick. Dillon fails with a takedown attempt. Dillon misses with a takedown attempt - Rubble sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dillon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rubble circles away. Rubble instigates a clinch. Dillon tries to pull guard but Rubble holds him up against the cage and eventually Dillon drops back down to his feet.

Dillon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rubble fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Good exchange - Rubble coming out on top. Rubble misses with an uppercut. Dillon saw that one coming. Dillon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nice takedown defense from Dillon. No joy for Rubble on that attempt. Dillon clinches. Rubble is trying to break free. Dillon fails to pull guard.

Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rubble bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dillon's head backwards. Horrible takedown by Rubble or perhaps it was just good defense by Dillon which made him look bad. Dillon lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Bambam Rubble has been cut. Rubble misses with a leg kick and Dillon counters with a nice kick to the body. Dillon lands with a slapping head kick.
Rubble is rocked! Rubble throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rubble is still on wobbly legs! Can Dillon finish him? Rubble works over Dillon's head and body with a nice combination. Rubble seems to have recovered his senses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dillon clinches but Rubble breaks the clinch so Rubble counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rubble working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dillon keeping moving, preventing Rubble from controlling successfully. Kjell Dillon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dillon throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Bambam Rubble comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rubble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
