Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Percy Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredo Parish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rice kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pretty Boy Percy. Fredo Parish is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Percy Rice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredo Parish! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parish uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rice. Rice takes a shot right to the bread basket. Parish misses the shot to the body. Parish feints and as Rice raises his hands in defense, Parish changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Parish. Parish looking to pass the guard. Parish is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Parish works a leg free and moves into half guard. Parish has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parish sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rice defending well though. Parish not landing any meaningful shots this time. Parish wants to advance to full mount but Rice doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Rice has momentary wrist control but Parish slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parish throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Parish is looking to advance position but Rice has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parish is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rice is looking to stand but Rice has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parish tries to reverse the position but Rice maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fredo Parish dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Percy Rice has been cut. Rice moves away from the strike by Parish. Parish throws a hook to the side of Rice's head but Rice sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rice staying out of range there. Parish shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rice as he avoids it easily. Rice stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rice wants it to stay on the feet. Fredo Parish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parish tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parish somewhat. Percy Rice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredo Parish.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parish throws an overhand right that lands on Rice's shoulder, as Rice tries to avoid the shot. Parish lands the left hand. Rice throws a lazy right hand but Parish sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Parish shoots in for a takedown but Rice shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Parish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Parish wants to pass the guard but Rice is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parish postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rice is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Parish, into his guard. Rice wants to stand but Parish has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rice stopping the sweep attempt from Parish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rice avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Parish lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rice! You get the feeling that Rice really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Parish fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Parish unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Rice wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Parish celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fredo Parish!
