Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonas Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Santana! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Santana is trying to get back to full guard. Johnson is thwarting Santana's attempts to control the position. Santana manages to escape and get back to his feet! Johnson rushes Santana and presses him up against the cage. Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Santana gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johnson successfully pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Santana trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Santana looking to pass the guard. Santana preventing the sweep. Santana wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving. Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Santana is one step ahead there.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santana swivels and escapes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice takedown defense from Santana. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonas Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Santana. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. Santana shoots and misses and Johnson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Santana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a flying knee. Nice. Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Santana! Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson unloads with some shots from mount but Santana bucks and avoids them well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santana tries to get back to half guard but can't. Johnson avoids the attempt from Santana to control. Santana is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Santana tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Santana keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Johnson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Santana takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Santana is working to get back to half guard.
Santana should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Johnson wants to take his opponent's back but Santana doesn't allow it. Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Johnson wants to control the pace but Santana is squirming around nicely. Santana tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Johnson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Santana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Johnson. Santana gets underhooks to prevent Johnson's takedown attempt.
Johnson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Santana trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson being controlled here, momentarily. Johnson keeping full guard, as Santana tries to pass. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Santana stopping the sweep attempt from Johnson. Johnson has Santana pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Santana controls the pace. Santana trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Santana looking to pass the guard. Santana controlling from the top position. Santana trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Santana!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to control the pace but Santana is squirming around nicely. Santana tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Despite being in the dominant position, Pedro Santana just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Santana, before circling back to the center of the mat. Santana displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson. Santana doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Santana shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Santana finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Santana prevents Johnson from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Pedro Santana will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Santana with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Santana fights it but they end up in guard. Johnson advances to half guard. Santana is trying to control but can't.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Santana has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action. Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Santana does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Santana looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Johnson is keen to just control but Santana is a slippery customer. Johnson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Santana is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Santana looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Santana gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Santana's guard now. Jonas Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Santana. Santana has a closed guard, preventing Johnson from standing up.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Santana keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santana controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself. Santana keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Santana is pulling down on Johnson's head to control his posture. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Santana looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Santana manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Johnson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Santana can't control as he wanted to and Johnson manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Santana is trying to control the action in half guard but Johnson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Santana keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Santana sits in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jonas Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
