Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between RG Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helly Elias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, RG Dias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Helly Elias! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elias throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dias on the side of the head. Dias drives through with a takedown into guard. Dias drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Elias manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dias has Elias in his guard. Dias is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Elias wants to stand but Dias has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dias has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Elias can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dias has a closed guard, preventing Elias from standing up. Dias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Elias gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dias looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Elias puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dias wants to control but Elias is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Dias manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Elias wants to stand but Dias is controlling his posture from full guard. Dias has an active guard here but Elias has managed to pass into half guard.
Dias is breathing heavily. Elias is thwarting Dias's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elias prevents Dias from improving his position. Dias looking for submissions off his back. Elias really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dias. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. It looks like Elias is going to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dias wants to control but Elias is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Elias listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Dias moves away from the strike by Elias. Elias cracks Dias with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elias scores with a hook. Elias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dias swats him away and circles back towards the center. Elias is looking to clinch but Dias is avoiding it.

Dias scores a takedown into full mount! Dias trying to control but Elias is having none of it. Dias is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Elias is surviving well by controlling Dias's body position as best he can. Dias has hold of Elias's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Elias manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dias is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Elias can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dias throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Dias won't let Elias get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Elias tries to hold on but Dias pushes him away. Dias swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Elias is now in Dias's guard. A big mistake from Dias there, giving up the dominant position! Elias wants to get up but he can't break Dias's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dias working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Elias doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Elias manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
RG Dias dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dias on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Dias changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Elias looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dias is trying to get an arm triangle but Elias is defending well. Dias wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Elias, who protects the arm well. Elias is trying to buck Dias off. Dias stands up and beckons Elias to his feet. Elias tries to clinch up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dias darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elias looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dias is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dias wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elias keeps working. Dias trying to pass the guard but Elias defending well. Dias is trying to control the action in half guard but Elias is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Elias is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dias avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Elias lands with a hook. Dias tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Elias connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dias momentarily.
Dias scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dias misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
