Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chad Kauffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Keyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Keyes's choice of entrance music: Eiffel 65's Blue (Da Ba Dee). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Kauffman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacques Keyes! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kauffman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keyes.
Kauffman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keyes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kauffman moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The fight stays on the outside here - Keyes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A combination from Keyes does no damage. Kauffman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Keyes instigates a clinch. Keyes tries to land a knee to the head but Kauffman blocks with his arms.
Keyes is stalling here.
Kauffman is trying to break the clinch but Keyes has him pressed against the cage. Kauffman has had enough of the clinch but Keyes keeps him there for the moment. Keyes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Keyes wants to stall.
Kauffman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kauffman wants to get back to striking at distance but Keyes won't allow it.
Keyes trying to land knees to the body.
Keyes presses Kauffman against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Kauffman working hard to break the clinch. Keyes has Kauffman pressed against the cage, preventing Kauffman from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kauffman is looking to break free of the clinch but Keyes has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keyes trying to land knees to the body.
Keyes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Keyes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kauffman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Keyes misses with a takedown attempt - Kauffman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kauffman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Keyes has time to react. Keyes swinging wilding here.
Jacques Keyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kauffman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Keyes on the side of the head. Danga de danga de dang - Kauffman scores with a four punch combination! Kauffman throws a series of punches but Keyes moves out of range. Keyes swings for the body but Kauffman moves out of range.
Kauffman jabs at Keyes's body. Kauffman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Keyes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Keyes looks gassed! Kauffman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keyes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Kauffman there.
It looks like Jacques Keyes has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Keyes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kauffman. Keyes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kauffman lands a glancing blow to the side of Keyes's head. Kauffman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kauffman's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kauffman duly obliges. Kauffman digs a good body shot into Keyes's ribs. Kauffman lands an overhand right. Kauffman throws a combination. Keyes tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kauffman scores with a nice head shot.
Keyes is rocked! Keyes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Keyes is still on wobbly legs! Can Kauffman finish him? Kauffman lands a hook that stumbles Keyes back into the cage. Kauffman follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Keyes to the canvas! Kauffman pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Keyes has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Chad Kauffman!
