Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Daley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Duivall!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duivall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Daley!
Daley gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duivall is taking a breather. Daley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Daley wants to get back to full guard.
Duivall controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Duivall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Daley is just riding it out for now. Duivall eventually gives up the hold.
Daley wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Daley trying to hold on to Duivall's head to control him but Duivall postures up.
Duivall blocks the strikes from Daley.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Duivall stalling.
Duivall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Robert Duivall just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Daley shoots and misses

and Duivall counters with a takedown into side control.
Daley sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Daley is looking to improve his position.
Daley is breathing heavily.
Daley trying to control from the bottom.

Duivall controlling the pace.
Duivall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Duivall frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duivall controlling from the full mount.
Daley tries to lock up and control but Duivall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Duivall looking to control but Daley is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Daley can't escape the position.
Duivall controlling from mount.
Daley tries to improve his position but instead Duivall has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Duivall dominated that round.
That's time! Daley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Daley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duivall did well to prevent Daley getting side control.
Daley wants to pass the guard but Duivall is defending well.

Daley stands up and beckons Duivall to join him on the feet.
Daley throws a combination that misses

and Duivall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Duivall.

Duivall has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Daley clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Daley covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
I really don't envy Daley right now.

Duivall patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Duivall struggling to keep hold of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daley trying to control the action but Duivall just sinks the hooks in.
Daley is in bad spot here.
Duivall controls the position.
Daley trying to control the hands but Duivall breaks the grip.
Daley tries to escape but Duivall has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daley is working hard here to advance position.
Daley covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
I would not like to be Daley right now.
Duivall avoiding Daley 's attempts to control his hands.
Duivall is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Duivall struggling to land strikes to the head as Daley covers up.
Daley manages to reverse the position and now he's in Duivall's guard. Nice work there by Daley.
Daley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Duivall's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daley trying to control the position from guard on top but Duivall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Daley throws a big right hand that misses.

Duivall kicks Daley off and gets to his feet.

Daley tries to keep at a distance but Duivall has taken the fight into the clinch.
Daley has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Duivall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Daley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Duivall gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Daley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Daley working a defensive guard but Duivall manages to pass into side control anyway.

Duivall stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Daley doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Duivall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Daley won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Daley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Daley stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Duivall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Duivall trying to control the position but Daley is working away.
Daley tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Duivall decides to stand up, so the ref orders Daley to his feet.

Daley doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Duivall counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Daley!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Duivall controlling from the full mount.
Daley wants to hold on but Duivall pushes him away.
Daley tries to improve his position but instead Duivall has taken his back!
Duivall is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Daley. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Daley is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daley tries to escape the position.
Duivall controlling the position well here. Daley rolled but Duivall kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Duivall has got one arm under Daley's chin. This could be trouble... Daley trying to control the other hand but Duivall gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Daley has tapped out! The fight is over!
