Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Canton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Canton! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Canton blocks a head kick by White.
Canton is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.
White gets a takedown into half guard. White keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. White trying to mount his opponent but Canton defends it. White is trying to control the action in half guard but Canton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Canton wants to get back to full guard. Canton has a hand on White's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. White takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Canton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Canton tries to lock up and control but White gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. White can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Canton is looking to escape. White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. White in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Canton tries to hold on but White postures up. White is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Canton is surviving well by controlling White's body position as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. White tries to control but Canton wriggling away. White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. White scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. White lands a nice shot to the head. White scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canton is in all sorts of trouble here.
Canton looks gassed! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White controlling from the full mount. Canton tries to hold on but White pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex White dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Canton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice sprawl there from Canton as White shoots in. Canton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. White is looking for a sweep. Canton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Canton wants to free his trapped foot but White is holding on for dear life with his legs. Canton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed White's head. Canton is breathing heavily. White preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canton prevents White from improving his position. Canton trying to mount his opponent but White defends it. White is trying to maintain the position but Canton is very close to passing his half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. White fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. White throws a body kick that misses. White clinches. White has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Canton tries for a takedown but White manages to get underhooks.
Canton goes for a takedown attempt but White pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. Alex White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Canton. White gets a takedown into half guard. White winds up and cracks Canton with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. White fails with the takedown and Canton counters with a nice low kick that buckles White's knee momentarily. Canton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side. White feints and as Canton raises his hands in defense, White changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Canton keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. White in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. White postures up.
White decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. White throws a one two combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex White dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Canton darts in trying to clinch and White holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Canton prevents the takedown attempt.
White is fighting off a takedown attempt but Canton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip White to the mat. White regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. White manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. White controlling his opponent. White has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. White postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Canton looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. White content just to control the position here. White scoring with strikes but Canton is staying in there. White putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! White content just to control the position here. Canton regains half guard. White is taking a breather. Canton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White gets to his feet - back to striking we go! White circles away from the clinch attempt and White counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Canton tries to grapple but his opponent circles and White counters with a nice double leg into guard. Alex White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. White controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. White wants to control from the top but Canton keeps moving.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Alex White just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. White is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Canton's half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex White showed his dominance in that final round. Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
