Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). A comes into the arena with Like my Swagga blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Crusher doesn't succeed with the takedown

and A counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Crusher's guard now.
A trying to control but Crusher is working from the bottom.

A stands up from guard. Let's bang!
A misses with a takedown attempt
and Crusher counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. A is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from A.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy A. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looks to score with a jab to the body but Crusher is just out of range.

Crusher has A up against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crusher pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Crusher decides to pull guard.
A wants to pass the guard but Crusher is keeping the position.

Crusher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
A has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A is fighting to break Crusher's control of his arms but Crusher is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
A wants to control from the top but Crusher keeps moving.
A is breathing heavily.

A drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Crusher dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crusher decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on A, up you get!

and A counters with a shoot takedown. Crusher fights it but they end up in guard.
