The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida dodges the punch combination from Vega.
Vega takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A punch combination from Vega misses.
Vega lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Carlos Almeida has been cut.
Vega throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Almeida on the side of the head.
Vega drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Almeida tries for a takedown but Vega sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Almeida on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Vega sends Almeida crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vega is motioning to the referee to let Almeida up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Almeida is rocked!

Oh Almeida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Almeida displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vega throws out the jab.
Vega lands a brutal uppercut that launches Almeida off his feet! Almeida tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
