Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aron Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnie Blankman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blankman has chosen Oh No You Didn't! as his entrance music. Aron Rogers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Arnie Blankman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blankman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Blankman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Blankman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rogers pulls Blankman in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers wants to stand and escape but Blankman is having none of it. Blankman is standing up over Rogers. Rogers looks to escape but Blankman dives into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rogers struggling a bit here. Blankman stands up. Arnie Blankman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blankman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rogers defends it nicely. Aron Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnie Blankman. Blankman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rogers as he jumps to the side. Blankman tries to close the distance and clinch but Rogers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rogers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Blankman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Rogers is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blankman trying to remain calm as Rogers controls from the top position. Rogers avoids the strikes from the bottom by Blankman. Rogers is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Blankman is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Rogers is staying tight to Blankman's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rogers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Blankman is looking for a sweep. Blankman looks gassed! Rogers taking a breather here. Blankman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Rogers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rogers frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The referee stands the fighters back up. Aron Rogers just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rogers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Blankman to the mat! Blankman manages to get full guard. Rogers preventing the sweep. Blankman wants to stand up but Rogers is controlling him. Rogers controlling from the top position. Rogers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rogers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blankman is trying to control Rogers's posture but Rogers avoids it. Rogers has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Blankman! Rogers controlling from the full mount. Blankman is in a horrible position here. Rogers smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blankman wants to hold on but Rogers pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Rogers. Blankman is breathing heavily. Blankman is desperately trying to improve his position but Rogers has a good base and remains in mount. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Blankman has eaten all the pies! Rogers content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blankman is trying to escape the mount.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Aron Rogers just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rogers scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Blankman is trying to improve his position. Rogers content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Blankman struggling a bit here.

Blankman shoots and misses and Rogers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Blankman's guard now. Rogers trying to control but Blankman is working from the bottom. Rogers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blankman is keeping the position for now. Rogers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Aron Rogers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rogers seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blankman for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Aron Rogers just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rogers with a poor takedown and Blankman counters with a two punch combo. Blankman lands with an overhand left. Blankman doesn't manage to clinch there - Rogers circles away.
Blankman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rogers counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blankman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rogers wants to control from the top but Blankman keeps moving. Blankman keeping full guard, as Rogers tries to pass. Arnie Blankman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Rogers tries to free his leg and advance position but Blankman is retaining full guard. Rogers stopping the sweep attempt from Blankman. Blankman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rogers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Blankman wants to stand up but Rogers is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers wants to pass the guard but Blankman is keeping the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Blankman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rogers feints and as Blankman raises his hands in defense, Rogers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Blankman wants to get back to his feet but Rogers is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Aron Rogers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Blankman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Rogers passes Blankman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blankman strikes from the bottom but Rogers uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Blankman is trying to control Rogers's posture but Rogers avoids it. Blankman pushes Rogers away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rogers gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rogers is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Aron Rogers showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rogers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
