Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Meough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meough tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Guy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Meough unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Guy lands a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Meough is trying to control the position but Guy postures up.
Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Guy postures up in Meough's guard and throws a big left but Meough blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Guy stands up over Meough, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Meough is looking to stand back up but Guy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Meough.

Meough has hold of Guy's hands but Guy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Meough is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Guy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Meough defends it well.
Guy looks gassed!

Guy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Guy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy passes the guard and advances to mount!

Guy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Meough can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Guy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Meough is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Meough flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Guy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Meough and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Guy slips an arm under Meough chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Guy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Guy is squeezing on Meough like an anaconda would it's prey. Meough fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Buddy Guy!
