Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between barry bonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Plaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, barry bonds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Plaster! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plaster swinging wilding here.
bonds misses with a head kick.
bonds moves out of range of the body kick. bonds tries to clinch but Plaster is having none of it. bonds shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Plaster as he jumps to the side. Plaster tries to clinch there but bonds circles away.
Evan Plaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plaster lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as bonds backs up against the cage.
Plaster throws a head kick but bonds moves out of range.
Plaster moves in looking to clinch but bonds pushes him off. bonds takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. bonds is breathing heavily. Plaster with a poor takedown and bonds counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by bonds. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plaster is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Plaster holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. bonds prevents Plaster from getting back to his feet. Plaster wriggles free and stands up. Plaster swinging wilding here.
Plaster connects with a body shot. Plaster changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. bonds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Plaster decides to stand up, so the ref orders bonds to his feet. bonds darts in trying to clinch and Plaster holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Plaster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
bonds dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Plaster wants to clinch up but bonds keeps it at a distance. Plaster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Plaster tries to clinch but bonds moves away and bonds counters with a two punch combo. Plaster closes this distance looking for a takedown but bonds circles away. bonds fails with an attempt to clinch.
bonds closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Plaster to the mat! Plaster manages to get full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plaster keeping moving, preventing bonds from controlling successfully. Plaster is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Plaster has control of bonds's left arm, preventing bonds from doing any damage. bonds trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. bonds wants to control from the top but Plaster keeps moving. Plaster is pulling down on bonds's head. It's preventing any offense from bonds, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Plaster wants to stand but bonds is controlling the position. Plaster is looking to stand back up but bonds counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Plaster. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. bonds is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Plaster is just riding it out for now. bonds eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Plaster dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Plaster is trying hard to land a takedown here. bonds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Plaster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Plaster throws a half hearted mid kick. Plaster thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on bonds if he has to take too many more of those.
An inside leg kick lands from bonds. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. bonds keeps the fight on the outside. Plaster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. bonds struggling a bit here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Plaster trying to control the action but bonds is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on bonds's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Plaster wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by bonds, who protects the arm well. bonds seems a little lost for a moment, as Plaster dominates the positioning. bonds is trying to control Plaster's posture but Plaster avoids it. Plaster stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nice straight punches there by bonds. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of bonds. Plaster buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
No joy there for Plaster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
bonds shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plaster sprawls well. Plaster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. bonds gets slowly back to his feet. Plaster throws a right and a left that both miss. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! bonds crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Plaster - the referee stops the clock and bonds gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Plaster. bonds manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. bonds lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Plaster backs up against the cage.
Plaster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with bonds but bonds pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. bonds scores with a nice right hand.
Plaster moves into the clinch. bonds misses with a hook to the ribs.
bonds lands a body shot. Plaster breaks the clinch.
Plaster throws a left and a right that both miss
and bonds counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Plaster is lucky that one didn't land flush. A punch combination from Plaster misses. Plaster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. bonds tries to clinch and Plaster counters with a series of strikes. bonds will be more careful next time no doubt. bonds doesn't succeed with the takedown and Plaster makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Plaster closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. bonds lands a body shot in the clinch.
Plaster keeps control of bonds as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. bonds tries to break the clinch but Plaster is controlling the position. bonds drops down looking for an ankle pick but Plaster pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for barry bonds. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plaster swinging wilding here.
Plaster has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Plaster there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Plaster throws a right hand that bonds ducks under and follows up with a left that bonds also avoids with ease. bonds slips a jab and a cross from Plaster.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Plaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! bonds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
bonds stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and bonds wants it to stay on the feet. bonds tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plaster swats him away and circles back towards the center. bonds dives in and grabs Plaster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Plaster pushes down on bonds's head and hops out. Plaster misses with a body punch
and bonds counters with a stiff right hand. bonds stuffs the takedown. bonds shoots and misses and Plaster counters with a single leg into guard. bonds didn't expect that. Plaster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. bonds swivels though and keeps the full guard. Plaster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. bonds manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Plaster manages to get himself to full guard.
bonds trying to control the position from guard on top but Plaster is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plaster has a closed guard, preventing bonds from standing up. bonds wants to control from the top but Plaster keeps moving. bonds passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. bonds cracks Plaster with a big elbow. Plaster tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but bonds wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Plaster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. bonds in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. bonds wants to lay and pray for a moment but Plaster keeps working. Evan Plaster has got the better of the ground game so far. bonds misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plaster is trying to improve his position. bonds is looking to take a break and control but Plaster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Plaster misses with a takedown and bonds counters by moving into the clinch. barry bonds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Plaster. bonds is trying to stall.
A bit of stalling here from Plaster.
Plaster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Plaster throws a sloppy head kick so bonds counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Plaster is looking to stand up but bonds isn't so interested in that idea. bonds trying to control but Plaster is working from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! barry bonds showed his dominance in that final round. Well Plaster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
