Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JT Stahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and adan martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, JT Stahr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, adan martinez!
The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
martinez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
martinez has a takedown stuffed.
Stahr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stahr lands in his opponent's guard.
martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stahr trying to control the position from guard on top but martinez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
martinez controls Stahr momentarily but Stahr frees himself.
Stahr decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
martinez keeps the fight on the outside.

martinez tries for a takedown but Stahr circles away easily
and Stahr counters with a shoot takedown. martinez fights it but they end up in guard.
JT Stahr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of adan martinez.
martinez wants to get back to his feet but Stahr is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stahr stays in close to martinez's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
martinez pulls Stahr in close to his closed guard and prevents Stahr from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stahr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Stahr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

martinez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
martinez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

martinez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stahr circles away.

martinez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stahr.
Stahr stuffs the takedown attempt from martinez. martinez gets slowly back to his feet.
martinez shoots in for a takedown but Stahr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
martinez drives through and clinches with Stahr against the cage.
Stahr gets control of martinez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stahr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
martinez passes Stahr's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stahr wants to control but martinez is keeping busy and won't allow it.

martinez seems to be looking for submissions.
martinez is trying to control the action in half guard but Stahr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Stahr is staying active underneath martinez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Stahr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Stahr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

martinez is looking to control Stahr's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can martinez avoid being mounted?
Stahr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed martinez's head.
Stahr is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and martinez reverses the position - he's now on top in Stahr's guard.
Stahr had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. martinez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stahr Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take martinez's back instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stahr has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, martinez has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
martinez breaks Stahr's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stahr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
martinez throws a series of punches but Stahr avoids them all with ease.

martinez looks to move to half guard but instead Stahr has passed into mount! Damn!

I would just about give that final round to adan martinez.
I think martinez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
