Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Oxbig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim McBride!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Oxbig!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oxbig pushes McBride up against the cage in a clinch.
McBride cracks Oxbig with a nice body shot.

McBride breaks from the clinch.

McBride drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Oxbig looks gassed!
McBride cracks Oxbig with a solid left hand.
McBride wants to control from the top but Oxbig keeps moving.
McBride is pushing down on Oxbig's leg trying to pass to half guard. Oxbig is fighting to maintain full guard but McBride has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oxbig tries to kick McBride off but McBride keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

McBride tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oxbig paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McBride feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Oxbig is trying to control the position but McBride postures up.

and McBride counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McBride looks like he's trying to stand up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oxbig thows a huge punch but McBride dodges it nicely.

McBride has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oxbig can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Oxbig wants to pass the guard but McBride is keeping the position.

McBride looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McBride drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Oxbig closes the distance and clinches up with McBride, looking for a takedown. Oxbig pushes McBride against the cage but McBride circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

McBride has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Oxbig is trying to keep an underhook but McBride manages to get the takedown into half guard.

McBride closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oxbig is looking to control McBride's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Oxbig avoid being mounted?
McBride is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McBride, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
