2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ben Steele! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Silvaski. Silvaski swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Steele takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Steele throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silvaski's waist but Silvaski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steele off to one side. Steele misses with a left hand and Silvaski counters with a nice body kick.

Silvaski has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Steele is proving hard to escape from. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Steele bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silvaski's guard. Steele works over Silvaski with some ground and pound from guard. Silvaski looking for a guillotine here but Steele defends easily.

Horrible takedown by Silvaski or perhaps it was just good defense by Steele which made him look bad. Steele looks to score with a jab to the body but Silvaski is just out of range. It looks like Ben Steele has been cut. Silvaski cracks Steele with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Steele swings for the body but Silvaski moves out of range.
