The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lezema throws a leg kick but Motta checks it.
Motta fails with a takedown attempt.
Lezema connects with a right hand. Motta shakes it off.
The fighters circling - Motta throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lezema stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Motta swivels though and keeps the full guard.
