And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Turner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turner ducks under a wild hook from Down.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Turner is defended easily by Down.
Down throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Travis Turner has been cut.
Down throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Turner on the side of the head.
Down closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner manages to get to full guard.
Turner controls Down momentarily but Down frees himself.
Turner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turner looking for a guillotine here but Down defends easily.
Down landing with the ground and pound.

Down scoring with some ground and pound.
Turner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Down gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Down scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Down's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Turner pushes a forearm under Down's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Down is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
