Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernesto Hoost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dookie Brains! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoost moves in looking to clinch but Brains pushes him off. Hoost looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch. Hoost gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Brains slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Brains tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brains has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brains is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hoost will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Brains is looking to take a break and control but Hoost is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brains stands up and we're back to a striking position. Brains forces Hoost back against the cage and clinches. Brains tries to break free but Hoost pushes him back against the cage. Hoost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Brains has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brains scores with a jab. Hoost acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Hoost blocks a head kick by Brains.
Brains forces Hoost back against the cage and clinches. Hoost prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brains decides to pull guard. Brains striking off his back but it's not causing Hoost any problems. Brains looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brains closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hoost circles away. Ernesto Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dookie Brains. Hoost keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hoost tries to clinch but Brains moves away and Brains counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hoost makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Hoost tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Brains counters with a solid body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoost circles away from the clinch attempt and Hoost holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Brains is trying to maintain a safe position but Hoost gets an underhook and turns Brains into the cage. Hoost stops a takedown attempt from Brains.

Brains has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hoost is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dookie Brains dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hoost moves into the clinch. Hoost working Brains over with knees to the body. Hoost tries a knee to the head but Brains blocks it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hoost is pressed up against the cage. Brains has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hoost down to the mat. Hoost avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ernesto Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dookie Brains. Hoost drives through and clinches with Brains against the cage.
Brains gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brains distracts Hoost with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hoost wants to stand up but Brains is controlling him. Brains trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brains stands and steps away. Hoost gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Brains fails to land with a series of punches.
Ernesto Hoost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hoost wants to clinch but Brains slips to the side and Brains counters by moving into the clinch. Hoost putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Brains in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hoost tries to land a knee to the head but Brains blocks with his arms.
Hoost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brains is defending well for now. Brains is trying to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brains tries to pull guard but Hoost won't allow it.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brains takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hoost with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Hoost throws a knee to the head but misses.

Brains lands an elbow that stopped Hoost in his tracks for a moment. Hoost creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hoost trying to land knees to the body.
A short left from Brains. Brains jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoost walks away with a smile on his face. Brains gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hoost tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brains paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brains throws a quick inside leg kick. Brains changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoost tries to avoid it but Brains manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoost to the ground. Hoost escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hoost tries to clinch up and Brains counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hoost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brains is defending well for now. Brains tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hoost smiles and moves away.
Brains shoots in for a double leg but Hoost sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hoost looks to clinch so Brains counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Brains wants to stand and escape but instead Hoost has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Brains has his feet on Hoost's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dookie Brains showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Brains fails with a takedown attempt. Hoost clinches but Brains breaks the clinch and Brains counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hoost! Brains is working for a guillotine from mount but Hoost frees his head quite easily.
Hoost has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Hoost is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. What can Hoost do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hoost has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Dookie Brains has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brains keeps control of the position easily here as Hoost tries to buck him off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brains looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Hoost is controlling Brains 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Hoost wants to stand but Brains has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Dookie Brains comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Brains winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
