Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Speed Lightly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Kempe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Speed Lightly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Kempe!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kempe tries to clinch up.
Lightly looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lightly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kempe swivels and escapes.
Kempe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kempe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kempe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lightly sprawls well. Lightly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kempe gets slowly back to his feet.
Lightly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No joy there for Lightly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lightly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kempe misses with a series of wild punches.
Kempe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kempe tries to score a body lock takedown but Lightly shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

and Lightly counters with a shoot takedown. Kempe fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kempe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lightly is controlling him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lightly stuffs the takedown attempt from Kempe. Kempe gets slowly back to his feet.
Kempe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lightly's waist but Lightly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kempe off to one side.
Lightly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kempe lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lightly backs up against the cage.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kempe.

Kempe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lightly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lightly wants to clinch up but Kempe keeps it at a distance.
Kempe circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kempe counters with an inside leg kick.
Lightly is looking to clinch but Kempe is avoiding it.
Lightly closes the distance but Kempe moves to the side
and Kempe makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lightly really felt that one!
Lightly clinches up with Kempe and pushes him back against the cage.
Kempe manages to break the clinch.
Kempe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lightly counters with a single leg into guard. Kempe didn't expect that.
Kempe pushes Lightly off and scrambles back to his feet.
Lightly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kempe scores with a jab to the jaw.
Lightly wants to clinch
and Kempe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lightly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lightly tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kempe with a nice head shot there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lightly controls Kempe momentarily but Kempe frees himself.
Kempe won't allow Lightly to get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lightly is adopting a defensive guard.
Kempe wants to get up but he can't break Lightly's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Speed Lightly will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kempe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kempe dodges the punch combination from Lightly.
Kempe lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Speed Lightly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kempe wants to clinch up but Lightly keeps it at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Kempe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lightly doesn't seem phased though.
Lightly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kempe is looking to slow Lightly down with leg kicks.
Lightly misses with a wild combination.
Kempe clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kempe jumps guard.
Lightly prevents Kempe from getting back to his feet.
Lightly trying to control the position from guard on top but Kempe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kempe is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lightly looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lightly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kempe keeps control of Lightly as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kempe digs a right hand underneath Lightly's ribcage. Lightly let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Kempe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lightly stalks Kempe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kempe's face. Kempe staggers backwards, shaken.

Kempe drives through and clinches with Lightly against the cage.
Kempe drags the fight down to the ground.
Kempe keeping moving, preventing Lightly from controlling successfully.
Lightly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lightly wants to control from the top but Kempe keeps moving.
Kempe uses the cage to get back to his feet.

and Lightly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kempe's guard.
Lightly prevents Kempe from getting back to his feet.
Lightly wants to control from the top but Kempe keeps moving.

Kempe is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lightlyis looking to pass into half guard but Kempe pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kempe is in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kempe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kempe is looking to work some ground and pound but Lightly has wrist control.
Lightly working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kempe.

Lightly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kempe shoots for a takedown but Lightly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kempe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lightly defends it nicely.
Speed Lightly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Kempe.
Lightly tries to close the distance and clinch but Kempe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kempe swats away the attempt to clinch by Lightly.
Kempe scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Lightly lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A short body shot lands from Kempe as the two fighters clinch.

Lightly swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kempe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Kempe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Lightly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kempe on the ground.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kempe manages to escape and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Speed Lightly.
I think Lightly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
