Tetriakov comes to the cage accompanied by Arsonist's Prayer. Boris Tetriakov has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tetriakov moves into the clinch.

Popov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tetriakov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Tetriakov prevents a takedown attempt there.
Popov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tetriakov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Boris Tetriakov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Popov.
Tetriakov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Popov backwards.

Popov tries to pull guard but Tetriakov won't allow it.

Tetriakov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Popov shoots in looking for a takedown. Tetriakov tries to sprawl out of it but Popov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tetriakov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Popov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tetriakov.
A punch lands to the side of Popov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tetriakov feints and then cracks Popov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Popov down.
Tetriakov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Popov right on the button. Popov goes down! Tetriakov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Tetriakov gets the win via TKO!
