Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nolan Baine! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baine clinches up against the cage. Karpov working hard to break the clinch. Baine breaks from the clinch.
A combination from Karpov does no damage. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Baine!
Karpov throws a series of punches but Baine moves out of range. Baine is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Karpov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Baine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Karpov. Karpov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Baine. Baine obviously looking to wear him down.
Baine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Baine lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Karpov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Baine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Karpov's guard. Karpov is breathing heavily. Karpov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Baine frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baine landing strikes from the mount and Karpov is in trouble! Baine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. You get the feeling that Karpov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Baine content just to control the position here. Baine lands a big elbow. Baine sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Baine lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Karpov really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Baine is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Baine extends the arm and Karpov is forced to tap!
