Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pasi Ruohonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukkonen Vasara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Pasi Ruohonen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasi Ruohonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ukkonen Vasara!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruohonen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vasara at a distance.
Ruohonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Vasara is just out of range.
Pasi Ruohonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasara uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ruohonen.
Vasara fails to land the takedown.
Ruohonen has managed to clinch.
Vasara has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ruohonen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Vasara goes for a takedown attempt but Ruohonen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pasi Ruohonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ukkonen Vasara.
Ruohonen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ruohonen is looking to clinch but Vasara is avoiding it.
Pasi Ruohonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ruohonen misses the jab.
Ruohonen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Vasara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ruohonen throws out the jab.
Ruohonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ruohonen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ruohonen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ruohonen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vasara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vasara fails to land the takedown.
Vasara ducks right into an uppercut from Ruohonen.
Ruohonen scores with a push kick.

Ruohonen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vasara if he has to take too many more of those.
Ruohonen doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasara circles away.
Ruohonen wants to clinch.
Vasara looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ruohonen!
Ruohonen is looking to improve his position but Vasara isn't that keen on the idea.
Vasara jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ruohonen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ruohonen and Vasara has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Vasara wants to control but Ruohonen is keeping him busy.

Ruohonen prevents Vasara from moving into mount.
Ruohonen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vasara wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ruohonen can't do much from the bottom here.
Vasara trying to control the position but Ruohonen is working away.
Vasara tries for a kimura but Ruohonen is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruohonen is looking for a sweep.
Vasara has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ruohonen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vasara yanks on the arm and Ruohonen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vasara.
