The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sokima tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hiller paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sokima darts in and clinches Hiller up against the cage. Hiller wants a takedown but no success here.

Yohama Sokima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sokima is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sokima has Hiller up against the cage in a clinch.

Yohama Sokima dominated that round. The cut man is working on Craig Hiller's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hiller moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hiller feints and as Sokima raises his hands in defense, Hiller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sokima kicks Hiller off and gets to his feet. Sokima tries to clinch there but Hiller circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sokima looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sokima tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hiller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sokima's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sokima wants to get back to his feet but Hiller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Craig Hiller dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Craig Hiller's cut. That's time! Hiller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Sokima tries to close the distance and clinch but Hiller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sokima wants to clinch but Hiller slips to the side and Hiller counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sokima! Sokima is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hiller throws some wild stikes that Sokima manages to avoid easily.
Hiller fails to take his opponent's back. Sokima wants to try and get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Hiller connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sokima blocking the ground and pound. Hiller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hiller is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sokima is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hiller is stalling here but it's allowed Sokima to get half guard.
Sokima is trying to stand up here but Hiller is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sokima wants to clinch but Hiller slips to the side and Hiller counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sokima thinking. Sokima is looking to clinch. Sokima leaves Hiller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sokima clinches with his opponent.

Sokima won't allow Hiller to get back to his feet. Hiller is trying to keep Sokima in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hiller shoots for a double leg takedown but Sokima sprawls well. He's pushed Hiller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sokima looks to clinch and Hiller counters with a single leg into guard. Sokima didn't expect that. Hiller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hiller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sokima is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Craig Hiller showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hiller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
