Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Kindbom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DK Oakston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kindbom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is landet i norr. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Kindbom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DK Oakston! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kindbom swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kindbom fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oakston avoids it really well and circles away. Oakston uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kindbom.
Kindbom misses with a wild combination.
Oakston gets a takedown into half guard. Kindbom is staying active underneath Oakston, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Oakston stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Horrible takedown by Oakston or perhaps it was just good defense by Kindbom which made him look bad. Kindbom avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oakston moves into the clinch successfully.

Oakston tries a knee to the head but Kindbom blocks it.
Oakston jumps guard and drags Kindbom to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kindbom tries to free his leg and advance position but Oakston is retaining full guard. Oakston wants to stand but Kindbom is controlling the position. Kindbom trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Oakston is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kindbom decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Oakston, up you get! Oakston is looking to clinch. Kindbom attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kindbom takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kindbom closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Oakston did well to prevent Kindbom getting side control. Kindbom is breathing heavily. Oakston flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Oakston is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kindbom passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Oakston! Oakston tries to buck Kindbom off but he can't manage it. Kindbom has hold of Oakston's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Oakston manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Oakston wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Oakston is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Oakston can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kindbom has control of Oakston's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Oakston regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oakston is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kindbom prevents Oakston from getting the reversal. Kindbom can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oakston is looking to escape. Kindbom prevents Oakston from getting the reversal. Oakston's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kindbom trying to control but he's not successful this time. Oakston manages to regain half guard. Good work. Oakston is staying active underneath Kindbom, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Oakston makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oakston. Oakston wants to get back to his feet but Kindbom is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kindbom stands up and waves to Oakston to follow him. Oakston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kindbom paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Kindbom will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kindbom tries to clinch but Oakston is having none of it. Oakston tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kindbom counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kindbom. Kindbom takes an elbow to the forehead. Oakston wants a takedown.

Oakston is pressed up against the cage. Kindbom has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Oakston down to the mat. Oakston avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kindbom on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kindbom looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Oakston moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kindbom keeps the fight on the outside. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kindbom fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oakston avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Kindbom. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oakston lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Oakston misses with a double jab.
Oakston stuffs the takedown attempt from Kindbom. Kindbom gets slowly back to his feet. Oakston closes the distance and pushes Kindbom back into the cage. Oakston is trying to stall.

An inside leg kick from Kindbom misses. Oakston lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kindbom lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oakston circles away quickly and effectively. Oakston throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oakston is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kindbom's half guard. Kindbom wants to control but Oakston is keeping busy.

Daniel Kindbom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kindbom gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Oakston to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kindbom wants to sweep here but Oakston controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kindbom controls Oakston momentarily but Oakston frees himself. Kindbom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kindbom throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Oakston advances position into side control! Oakston is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Oakston throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kindbom is looking for a sweep. Oakston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kindbom keeps working. Oakston moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Kindbom can't do much from the bottom here. Oakston stands up. Kindbom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oakston. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DK Oakston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Oakston fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kindbom, pushing him back against the cage. Kindbom blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kindbom decides to pull guard. Kindbom is trying to control the position but Oakston postures up. Oakston pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kindbom is keeping the position for now. Oakston not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oakston trying to control but Kindbom is working from the bottom. Kindbom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oakston doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oakston manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oakston controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kindbom keeping moving, preventing Oakston from controlling successfully. Kindbom looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oakston is one step ahead there. Kindbom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oakston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kindbom not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Oakston gets in close and instigates a clinch. Oakston tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Oakston is looking to control Kindbom's arms but Kindbom gets an underhook and turns him. Now Oakston has his back to the cage. Oakston looking to throw knees to the head but Kindbom is blocking nicely.

Oakston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Oakston with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Oakston comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kindbom just misses with a elbow thrown towards Oakston's brow. Oakston prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oakston tries to land a knee to the head but Kindbom blocks with his arms.
Kindbom has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Oakston is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Kindbom. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oakston misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kindbom.

Oakston throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kindbom blocks it with crossed arms. Oakston is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kindbom is defending well for now. Oakston tries a knee to the head but Kindbom blocks it.
Kindbom pushes Oakston back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Oakston tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kindbom avoids it. Kindbom tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oakston smiles and moves away.
Kindbom takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Oakston fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kindbom, pushing him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Oakston has Kindbom pressed against the cage, preventing Kindbom from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Oakston lands a nice knee to the body. Kindbom wants to get back to striking at distance but Oakston won't allow it.

Oakston misses with a knee to the head. Kindbom gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kindbom wants to free his trapped foot but Oakston is holding on for dear life with his legs. Oakston is trying to stand up here but Kindbom is controlling him well. Kindbom escapes and gets back to his feet. Kindbom dives in and grabs Oakston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oakston pushes down on Kindbom's head and hops out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kindbom dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oakston. That did some damage! Oakston feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kindbom's calf. Oakston looks to clinch and Kindbom counters with a nice double leg into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Kindbom showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kindbom has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
