Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scott Cheetham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne has chosen Ice Ice baby as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Andrew Payne will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Payne works his foot free and advances to mount. Payne moves to back control. Payne looking for the choke from the back. Payne is not going to allow Cheetham to sit and survive in this position. Payne working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Payne is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cheetham knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cheetham for a finish. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cheetham is trying to get back to his feet but Payne has full control of the position and if anything, Cheetham has just worked his way into a worse spot. Cheetham tries to lock up and control but Payne gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Payne can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cheetham is looking to escape. Cheetham can't escape the position.

Payne working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Payne swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cheetham is now in Payne's guard. A big mistake from Payne there, giving up the dominant position!

Cheetham gets to his feet - Payne follows without any prompting. Payne avoids the head kick by Cheetham.
Cheetham tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Payne paws at him with a jab and circles away. No joy there for Payne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Payne scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Payne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Payne tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Payne gets a takedown into half guard. Cheetham is not content to let Payne control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Payne dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Payne shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cheetham napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cheetham manages to get back to half guard. Payne seems to be looking for submissions.
Cheetham is looking for a sweep. Payne is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cheetham is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Payne pulls his head out easily. Payne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cheetham keeps working. Cheetham is trying to stand back up but Payne is controlling him
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Payne passes to full mount! Cheetham is trying to stand but he's just given Payne his back. Well, with Payne on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Cheetham is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Cheetham refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Cheetham's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
