Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steve Zodiac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Fratz!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Fratz does no damage.
Fratz wants to clinch up but Zodiac keeps it at a distance.
Fratz clobbers Zodiac with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zodiac is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fratz misses with a head kick.
Fratz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zodiac circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Fratz drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Zodiac follows Fratz to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
