The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pegg.
It looks like Dirk Bandana has been cut.
Bandana on the wrong end of a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pegg lands a big uppercut and Bandana crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bandana looks OK. Pegg waves Bandana back to his feet!
Pegg throws out a loose jab but Bandana uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pegg clinches up against the cage.
Bandana drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pegg manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Nice body punch from Pegg - that landed with a thud.

Bandana goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pegg prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirk Bandana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bandana tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pegg putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bandana in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bandana is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pegg pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Pegg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pegg throws a head kick that misses.
Pegg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dirk Bandana's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jeez, Dirk Bandana's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
