Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Paulson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brendan Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulson comes to the cage accompanied by Where Is My Mind by The Pixies. Reilly has chosen Toss the Feathers as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Paulson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brendan Reilly! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paulson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Reilly shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Paulson tries to clinch but Reilly moves out of range. Paulson instigates a clinch. Paulson can't break the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Reilly scores with a nice short uppercut. A head punch blocked on the inside by Paulson. Reilly has Paulson pressed against the cage, preventing Paulson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Paulson misses with a body punch.
Reilly is working Paulson over against the cage. Reilly manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Paulson tries for a takedown but Reilly manages to get underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round. Paulson misses with a looping left. Reilly is looking to clinch but Paulson is avoiding it.
Reilly gets a takedown into half guard. Reilly missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ground and pound from Reilly. Reilly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Paulson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reilly. Paulson is not content to let Reilly control the position. Reilly wants to pass the guard but Paulson is defending well. Reilly is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reilly is thwarting Paulson's attempts to control the position. Reilly thows a huge punch but Paulson dodges it nicely.
Paulson is looking to control Reilly's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Paulson avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Paulson cracks Reilly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Reilly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paulson circles away. Paulson misses with a few strikes there.
Reilly lands a nice looking body shot.
Reilly takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Paulson tries to clinch up and Reilly counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reilly keeps control of Paulson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Paulson working hard to break the clinch. That's four minutes gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reilly creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Reilly lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Paulson or not. Reilly lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Reilly lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Reilly just leaning against Paulson, taking a breather. Reilly prevents Paulson from breaking the clinch. Paulson tries to break the clinch but Reilly is controlling the position. Reilly lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Reilly lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Paulson or not. Paulson is trying to break the clinch but Reilly is controlling him. Paulson is breathing heavily. A short left from Reilly. Reilly lands a hook to the side of the head. Paulson wants to break free but Reilly has control.

Paulson is rocked! Reilly gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Oh Paulson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Reilly is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Paulson is hurt! He's hurt bad - Reilly fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Paulson from any more punishment! Congratulations to Reilly! Great finish!
