The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson lands with a nice combination. Anstice backs away looking to recover.

Johnson is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Anstice throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Anstice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.

Anstice walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Anstice might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Johnson has got the better of the exchanges.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Johnson counters with a crisp one two that drops Anstice! Johnson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Anstice to his feet! Anstice is in big trouble!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Johnson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Charlie Johnson is winning the standup battle so far.
Anstice slips a jab from Johnson.

Anstice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ajax Anstice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anstice on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Johnson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Johnson lands a big uppercut and Anstice crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Anstice looks OK. Johnson waves Anstice back to his feet!
Anstice is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Anstice closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Johnson lands a really nice looking cross but Anstice seems unphased.
Anstice moves away from the strike by Johnson.
Anstice seems to have recovered his senses.
Johnson misses with a straight right.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Anstice thinking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Johnson dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Johnson counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Anstice to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Johnson!
