Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Matchenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and HOMEP CTO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Matchenkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, HOMEP CTO!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CTO closes the distance and pushes Matchenkov back into the cage.
CTO working hard to break the clinch.
Matchenkov tries to circle away but CTO has him pinned against the cage.
CTO is pressed up against the cage. Matchenkov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag CTO down to the mat. CTO avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Matchenkov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Matchenkov wants to take a breather but CTO is having none of it.
CTO wants to control but Matchenkov is keeping busy.
Matchenkov could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
CTO moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Matchenkov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
CTO is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Matchenkov is aware though and is defending well.

Matchenkov trying to control the position from guard on top but CTO is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Matchenkov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Matchenkov wants to control from the top but CTO keeps moving.
Matchenkov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
CTO has his foot on Matchenkov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Matchenkov works his way back into a safe position though.

Matchenkov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Matchenkov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Matchenkov won't allow CTO to get back to his feet.
CTO escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Matchenkov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
CTO working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matchenkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matchenkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
CTO looks gassed!

CTO is trying to keep Matchenkov in close.
CTO has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Matchenkov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Matchenkov passes CTO's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
CTO looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Matchenkov trying to control from half guard but CTO is working away.
Matchenkov controlling the action here.
Matchenkov wants to take a breather but CTO is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
HOMEP CTO dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
CTO throws a nice head kick!
CTO misses with a takedown attempt
and Matchenkov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for CTO!
Matchenkov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
CTO tries to hold on but Matchenkov pushes him away.
Matchenkov lands a nice shot to the head.
CTO is squirming around, avoiding Matchenkov's attempts to control the action.
CTO tries to lock up and control but Matchenkov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
CTO is looking to improve his position but Matchenkov isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

CTO is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Matchenkov controlling his opponent.
CTO tries to hold on but Matchenkov pushes him away.
Matchenkov wants to control the pace but CTO is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
CTO regains half guard.
CTO slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
CTO punching from the bottom.
CTO looking to control.
CTO is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Matchenkov tries to get to full guard but CTO has control of the leg.
CTO drops an elbow to the side of Matchenkov's head.
CTO is trying to control. Matchenkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Matchenkov wants to improve his position but CTO is controlling well.
CTO looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Matchenkov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matchenkov is staying active underneath CTO, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. CTO connects with a nice short shot to Matchenkov's temple.
CTO stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
CTO throws a shot from downtown. Matchenkov moves away and avoids it.
CTO misses with a series of wild punches.
Matchenkov has closed the distance and engaged CTO in a clinch.
CTO escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Some wild striking there from CTO.
Matchenkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Matchenkov tries to control but CTO wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boris Matchenkov dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
CTO will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Matchenkov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
CTO wants to control but Matchenkov is keeping busy and won't allow it.

CTO flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Matchenkov wants to stand up but CTO has a hold of him and won't allow it.
CTO regains full guard. Nicely done.
CTO is trying to keep Matchenkov in close.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
CTO shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Matchenkov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
CTO stopping the sweep attempt from Matchenkov.
CTO passes into half guard.
Matchenkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
CTO looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Matchenkov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
CTO decides to return to a standing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fight stays on the outside here - CTO looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Matchenkov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
CTO pulls guard successfully.
Matchenkov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
CTO controlling the position.
Matchenkov trying to control but CTO is working from the bottom.
CTO trying to keep a closed guard but Matchenkov is proving a slippery customer.
Matchenkov wants to control from the top but CTO keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight!
HOMEP CTO comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think CTO has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
