Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between kurt malotke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Jorgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kurt malotke could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Scott Jorgensen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorgensen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

malotke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jorgensen on the side of the head.

malotke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jorgensen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jorgensen shoots for a double leg takedown but malotke sprawls well. He's pushed Jorgensen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
kurt malotke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Jorgensen.

and Jorgensen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in malotke's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

malotke wants to get up but he can't break Jorgensen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

and malotke counters with a good, hard body kick but Jorgensen shrugs it off.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
malotke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jorgensen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

malotke jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jorgensen walks away with a smile on his face. malotke gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to kurt malotke.
Well malotke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
