1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andersen Koscheck! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! rovi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Koscheck did well to prevent rovi getting side control. rovi is controlling the pace.
Koscheck won't allow rovi to pass to mount. Koscheck pushes rovi off looking to stand but rovi dives back in and keeps control.
rovi wants to pass to mount but Koscheck is defending the position. rovi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Koscheck cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. rovi tries to land a sweep but no joy. rovi keeping moving, preventing Koscheck from controlling successfully. dan rovi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
