The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lermontov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sorenson's waist but Sorenson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lermontov off to one side.
Lermontov takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sorenson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Lermontov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sorenson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lermontov is looking to take a break and control but Sorenson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sorenson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lermontov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lermontov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Sorenson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lermontov. Lermontov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lermontov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
