The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace keeps the fight on the outside. Wallace avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wallace throws a body punch but Lennox moves out of range. Wallace throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Larry Lennox has been cut. Lennox is looking to clinch but Wallace is avoiding it.
Lennox fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Wallace misses the target. Lennox tries to clinch but Wallace is having none of it. Lennox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wallace paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lennox circles away. Larry Lennox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lennox is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lennox is looking to clinch. A slow jab from Wallace misses its intended target. Wallace throws a jab but it's blocked by Lennox. Wallace takes a swing at Lennox's ribcage but misses. Lennox takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Wallace throws out a powerful jab. Lennox is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wallace misses with an uppercut. Horrible takedown by Lennox or perhaps it was just good defense by Wallace which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lennox fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lennox misses with a straight right. Lennox fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wallace avoids it really well and circles away. Lennox takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lennox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wallace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lennox defending well as Wallace loads up on a big left hand. Wallace swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lennox bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lennox tries to clinch but Wallace is having none of it. Lennox blocks a jab. James Wallace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lennox tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wallace looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wallace swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Lennox misses. Lennox clinches but Wallace breaks the clinch and Wallace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lennox closes the distance but Wallace moves to the side and Wallace counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lennox ducks under a wild hook from Wallace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lennox takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lennox tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lennox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wallace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lennox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wallace. James Wallace seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lennox darts in trying to clinch and Wallace cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wallace misses the jab. Lennox gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wallace. Lennox clinches but Wallace breaks the clinch and Wallace counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lennox is rocked!
Larry Lennox's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Nice defenses there by Lennox. Lennox thumps Wallace with a low kick. Larry Lennox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wallace throws a hook but Lennox blocks it. Wallace lands a lovely overhand right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Larry Lennox's cut. That's time! Lennox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Wallace throws a shot from downtown. Lennox moves away and avoids it. Lennox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wallace as he jumps to the side. Wallace throws out a loose jab but Lennox uses good head movement to avoid it. Wallace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wallace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wallace wants it to stay on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lennox closes the distance but Wallace moves to the side and Wallace counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Wallace counters with a nice body shot. Wallace keeps the fight on the outside. Lennox darts in trying to clinch and Wallace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lennox tries to move into range but Wallace moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Lennox closes the distance looking to clinch and Wallace cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oh Lennox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Larry Lennox's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Lennox tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wallace counters with a big left hand that crumples Lennox! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
