Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Bean is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Taylor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bean! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bean stuffs the takedown. Excellent takedown into side control there by Taylor. Taylor is chipping away with strikes.
A control attempt from Bean but he's now mounted! The referee warns Bean that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
It looks like Joe Bean has been cut. Taylor avoids the attempt from Bean to control. Bean looks gassed! Taylor lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bean is in a horrible position here. Taylor smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Taylor landing punches. Taylor cracks Bean with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor is landing with some decent strikes but Bean is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bean tries to lock up and control but Taylor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The cut above Joe Bean's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Bean is bucking up trying to escape but Taylor cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Taylor has control of Bean's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bean regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bean flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but Bean is retaining full guard. Bean has control of Taylor's left arm, preventing Taylor from doing any damage. Bean is trying to hold Taylor in close to prevent damage but Taylor has managed to pass into half guard.
Taylor wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Bean uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Bean trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bean has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Taylor has managed to get both his arms back between Bean's legs - danger averted. Taylor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bean dives on top into guard. Taylor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bean seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Taylor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bean can do to turn this around? Taylor controls Bean momentarily but Bean frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Taylor dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Joe Bean's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Bean lands with a slapping head kick. Taylor misses with a takedown attempt - Bean sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bean to the mat! Bean manages to get full guard. Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Taylor wants to control from the top but Bean keeps moving. Taylor is really struggling to control Bean but he's trying to hold on to the position. Taylor is working Bean over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor wants to control from the top but Bean keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bean working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taylor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taylor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Taylor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Taylor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bean is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor trying to mount his opponent but Bean defends it. Bean wants to get back to full guard. Taylor takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bean on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bean trying to control from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bean swivels and escapes. Bean with a lazy takedown attempt and Taylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bean's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Taylor keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bean's head. Bean is looking to sinch up a triangle. Taylor throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bean's body to avoid the submission. Bean has instead reached around Taylor's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bean arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
