Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between DON red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Buzzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buzzard tries to close the distance and clinch but red swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buzzard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by red.
Buzzard is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Buzzard misses with a shot to the body
letting red counter with a right hand.
It looks like Billy Buzzard has been cut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Buzzard has eaten all the pies!
red fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Buzzard tries to close the distance and clinch but red swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Buzzard stuffs the takedown.
Buzzard connects with a looping right hand.
A shot to the body from Buzzard misses
and red counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Buzzard thinking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and red counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Buzzard's guard now.

red will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buzzard tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and red counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Buzzard leaves red with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Buzzard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows red to score an easy takedown into full guard.
red has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

red wants to control from the top but Buzzard keeps moving.

red wants to get up but he can't break Buzzard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
red wants to clinch up but Buzzard keeps it at a distance.
Buzzard looks to clinch
and red counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
red misses with a head shot. Buzzard uses the momentum to regain guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
red throws a big right hand that misses.
red slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
red stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buzzard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Buzzard wants to stand and escape but red is having none of it.
red sitting in guard, not really doing much.
red loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
red in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Buzzard keeping moving, preventing red from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
red walks into a left hand.
Buzzard looks to clinch
letting red counter with a right hand.
Buzzard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Buzzard clinches but red breaks the clinch
and red decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buzzard's guard.
Buzzard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
red shoots in for a takedown but Buzzard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Buzzard closes the distance looking to clinch
and red counters with a nice body kick.
Buzzard clinches but red breaks the clinch
and red moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Buzzard just misses with a elbow thrown towards red's brow.
Buzzard creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through red's defenses.
Buzzard misses with an elbow strike.
red takes an elbow to the forehead.
Buzzard throws an elbow that misses.
red turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and red manages to end up in side control.
Buzzard seems a little lost for a moment, as red dominates the positioning.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

red has knee on belly and moves into mount.
red content just to control the position here.
red throwing strikes here but Buzzard is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Buzzard is squirming around, avoiding red's attempts to control the action.
Buzzard is desperately trying to improve his position but red has a good base and remains in mount.
Buzzard tries to hold on but red postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
red throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
red scoring with strikes but Buzzard is staying in there.
Billy Buzzard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
red jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Buzzard is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Buzzard and red has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
You can see the frustration on Buzzard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

red is looking to take a break and control but Buzzard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
red wants to control for a moment but Buzzard uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight!

Well red has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
