Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sheamus Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen like light to flies - trivium as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheamus Noonan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Melvin Carter!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noonan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively.
Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Noonan, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Noonan against the cage but Noonan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Noonan misses its intended target.
Carter shoots for a double leg takedown but Noonan sprawls well. He's pushed Carter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sheamus Noonan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Melvin Carter.
Carter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Noonan stuffs the takedown.
Noonan stuffs the takedown attempt from Carter. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Noonan is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, Noonan circles away and we're back to standing.

Carter looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Noonan lands a body shot.

Noonan cracks Carter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Noonan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carter to stand back up!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Noonan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Carter takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Noonan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
