Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Demper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Demper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damien Cook! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Demper swivels and escapes. Cook decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Demper wants to improve his position but Cook is controlling well.
Demper is trying to maintain the position but Cook is very close to passing his half guard. Demper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Demper has a hand on Cook's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Cook takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Demper tries to improve his position but instead Cook has taken his back! Demper tries to escape but Cook has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Demper trying to control the action but Cook just sinks the hooks in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook keeps control of the position as Demper tries to break free.
Cook is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Demper trying to get back to his feet but Cook is in full control for now. Demper tries to escape but Cook has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cook is riding his opponent, not letting Demper buck him off. Demper breaks Cook's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Demper is looking to work some ground and pound but Cook has wrist control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Demper stuffs the takedown attempt from Cook. Cook gets slowly back to his feet. Demper looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Demper wants to pass the guard but Cook is keeping the position. Cook controlling the position. Demper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Demper looking to sit in guard and control but Cook gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cook wants to control from the top but Demper keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Demper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Demper throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cook trying to control but Demper is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demper striking off his back but it's not causing Cook any problems. Demper is pulling down on Cook's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Demper working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Cook has passed into half guard!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cook lands a nice short elbow. Demper slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Demper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cook's guard. Cook has Demper pulled in close to control his posture. Demper postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Damien Cook will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Demper shoots in but Cook avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cook scores with a takedown into Demper's guard. Demper has his foot on Cook's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cook works his way back into a safe position though. Cook decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Demper, up you get! Cook misses with a takedown and Demper counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Demper is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cook trying to hold on to Demper's head to control him but Demper postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Cook is breathing heavily. Demper is looking to advance position but Cook won't allow it. Demper looks to land a strike but Cook avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Demper trying to control the position from guard on top but Cook is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Demper gets to his feet. Cook looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cook uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Demper.
Demper has his takedown stuffed and Cook counters with a takedown into side control. Demper takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Demper is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Demper tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cook working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demper manages to get back to half guard. Demper is trying to maintain the position but Cook is very close to passing his half guard. Cook sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Demper defending well though. Demper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cook. Cook wants to pass to mount but Demper is defending the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Demper throws the kick towards the body but Cook avoids it. Demper has Cook up against the cage in a clinch.
Demper wants to get back to striking at distance but Cook won't allow it.
Demper wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Demper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cook shoots in but Demper avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cook throws a sloppy head kick and Demper moves out of range easily. Demper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cook looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Demper stands up and we're back to a striking position. Demper throws a right hand that Cook ducks under and follows up with a left that Cook also avoids with ease. Horrible takedown by Cook or perhaps it was just good defense by Demper which made him look bad. Frankie Demper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Cook. Cook fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Demper tries to clinch but Cook moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Frankie Demper will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Cook with a poor takedown and Demper counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Demper frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Demper looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Demper gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Demper gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Demper manages to break the clinch.
Demper stuffs the takedown. Demper doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cook counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Demper!
That's one minute gone in the round. Demper gets back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Demper is trying to maintain the position but Cook is very close to passing his half guard. Demper manages to get to full guard.
Cook pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Demper is keeping the position for now. Demper looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Demper will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Demper keeping moving, preventing Cook from controlling successfully. Cook stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Demper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Demper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cook's waist but Cook gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Demper off to one side. Cook connects with a right hand. Demper shakes it off. Demper with a poor takedown and Cook counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Demper thinking. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Demper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Demper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demper wants to stand but Cook has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Cook is refusing to be controlled, as Demper sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Demper is looking for a kimura here.
Demper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cook does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Frankie Demper showed his dominance in that final round. Well Demper has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
