Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akihito Tatsuhiko!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatsuhiko throws a wild body kick that Ferguson sees coming a mile off.
Tatsuhiko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tatsuhiko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ferguson.
Tatsuhiko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ferguson has time to react.
Tatsuhiko misses with a two punch combination.
Tatsuhiko fails to land with a series of punches.
Ferguson ducks under a wild hook from Tatsuhiko.
Tatsuhiko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tatsuhiko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tatsuhiko throws a hook to the side of Ferguson's head but Ferguson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferguson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ferguson tries for a kimura but Tatsuhiko is defending well.
Ferguson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tatsuhiko, who protects the arm well.

Tatsuhiko tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tatsuhiko wants to control but Ferguson postures up.
Tatsuhiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferguson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ferguson swings around for an armbar but Tatsuhiko sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ferguson's guard.
Tatsuhiko postures up in Ferguson's guard and throws a big left but Ferguson blocks it.
Ferguson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tatsuhiko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tatsuhiko stands and steps away. Ferguson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ferguson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tatsuhiko.
Tatsuhiko thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ferguson scores with a sloppy right hand. Tatsuhiko should have avoided that one.
Tatsuhiko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Akihito Tatsuhiko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ferguson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tatsuhiko doesn't seem bothered though.
Tatsuhiko throws a body punch but Ferguson moves out of range.
Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch but Tatsuhiko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tatsuhiko just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferguson throws a nice looking combination but Tatsuhiko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tatsuhiko throws a big shot that misses.
Ferguson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Ferguson counters with a takedown into side control.
Ferguson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tatsuhiko, who protects the arm well.
Tatsuhiko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ferguson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tatsuhiko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ferguson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tatsuhiko is trying to escape and Ferguson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tatsuhiko is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ferguson! Very nice indeed!
