Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Count Orlok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mondial Dos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Count Orlok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mondial Dos!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dos showed some decent athleticism there.

Dos is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Orlok is looking to improve his position.

Dos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Orlok kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dos stands up and beckons Orlok to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Orlok takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dos shoots in and drives through. Orlok sprawls well.

Dos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Orlok to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mondial Dos dominated that round.
That's time! Orlok's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dos throws a sloppy head kick and Orlok moves out of range easily.

Orlok scores with a nice shot.
Orlok bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dos's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dos is controlling Orlok's posture.

Dos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Dos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Orlok is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Orlok's back instead.
Orlok turns into Dos and is now in his guard.
Orlok prevents Dos from getting back to his feet.
Orlok passes into half guard.
Orlok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dos wants to control but Orlok is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Orlok wants to work for an arm triangle but Dos is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Orlok is looking to take a break and control but Dos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Orlok thows a huge punch but Dos dodges it nicely.

Orlok drops back looking for a leg! Dos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dos manages to kick Orlok off! Orlok jumps back into Dos's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Orlok, pushing him back against the cage.
Dos lands a nice elbow.

Dos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Orlok blocks a head kick by Dos.
Orlok gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Dos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dos.

Mondial Dos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Dos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Orlok's shoulder. That is not cool.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dos wants to control but Orlok is keeping him busy.
Orlok is looking to reverse the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A lazy left from Dos finds it's target.

Orlok bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dos is trying to control Orlok's posture but Orlok avoids it.
Dos is pushing Orlok's head away, looking to escape. Orlok manages to hold on to the position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Orlok goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dos rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Orlok's guard! Nice work there by Dos!

Mondial Dos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
