Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kitarro Drako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fontana is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mouth for war. Kitarro Drako has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kitarro Drako!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Fontana!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontana swats away the attempt to clinch by Drako.

Fontana changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Drako fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drako is defended easily by Fontana.

Fontana shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fontana is thwarting Drako's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fontana is trying to work for a kimura but Drako is defending well.
Drako is trying to maintain the position but Fontana is very close to passing his half guard.

Fontana is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Drako can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fontana has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fontana thows a big elbow that misses.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fontana throws a low kick, looking for Drako's leg but Drako calmly moves out of range.
Drako circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drako stuffs the takedown attempt from Fontana. Fontana gets slowly back to his feet.
Fontana misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fontana moves in looking to clinch but Drako pushes him off.
Fontana tries to clinch there but Drako circles away.
Drako keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Drako shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fontana but Fontana pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drako throws a leg kick which misses Fontana's front leg but catches the back leg as Fontana tries to avoid it.

Fontana tries to clinch up but Drako circles away and keeps his distance.
Drako shoots for a takedown but Fontana saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fontana is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Drako stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fontana swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Drako thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Drako drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drako jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Drako wants to control from the top but Fontana keeps moving.
Drako wants to pass the guard but Fontana is keeping the position.

Fontana wriggles free and stands up.
Drako is looking to clinch but Fontana is avoiding it.

Fontana has closed the distance and engaged Drako in a clinch.

Fontana manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Drako passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Drako scores with a couple of short elbows.
Fontana is looking to reverse the position.

Drako drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fontana pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fontana's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fontana decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Drako tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Fontana is trying to control the action in half guard but Drako is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Drako wants to control but Fontana is keeping busy.
Fontana lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Drako tries to roll over but Fontana keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kitarro Drako will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fontana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drako swivels and escapes.
Fontana fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Drako counters with a three punch combo that has Fontana backing up. Fontana nods at Drako to acknowledge the strikes.

Drako sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fontana's guard.

Fontana keeping moving, preventing Drako from controlling successfully.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fontana holds on and takes a little breather.
Fontana wants to stand up but Drako is controlling him.
Fontana throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Drako stops Fontana from standing up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kitarro Drako showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Drako has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
