Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Baroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phil Baroni has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baroni keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Baroni moves out of range easily.
Baroni throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Baroni leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones moves in looking to clinch but Baroni pushes him off.
Baroni swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Baroni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baroni slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Baroni is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Baroni misses with a straight left.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Baroni had a free shot at his head there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Baroni.
Baroni throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baroni but Baroni pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jones gets control of Baroni's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jones will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Baroni is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Baroni is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Baroni is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.
