Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mibu Kyoshiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richards comes into the arena with Cry me a river - Michael buble blaring out of the sound system. Kyoshiro has chosen You're The Best Around as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kyoshiro thuds his right hand into Richards's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Shane Richards has been cut.
A jab from Richards misses.
Kyoshiro swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Richards counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kyoshiro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kyoshiro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kyoshiro throws a body kick that misses.
Richards does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Richards misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kyoshiro throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kyoshiro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Kyoshiro counters with a nice kick to the body.
Richards is breathing heavily.
Kyoshiro shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kyoshiro lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kyoshiro passes the guard and advances to mount!
Kyoshiro controlling the position easily from mount.
Kyoshiro fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kyoshiro scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Richards wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kyoshiro.

Richards is rocked!
Kyoshiro loads up with a big shot that hurts Richards! He's pulled Kyoshiro in close but Kyoshiro has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Richards survive? More strikes from Kyoshiro and Richards is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
