Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenichi Uzomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Tamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Uzomaki! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamura slaps away a takedown attempt from Uzomaki, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tamura throws a right and a left that both miss. Uzomaki tries for a takedown but Tamura sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tamura slaps away a takedown attempt from Uzomaki, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kenji Tamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenichi Uzomaki. Uzomaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Uzomaki tries for a takedown but Tamura sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Uzomaki dives in and grabs Tamura's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tamura pushes down on Uzomaki's head and hops out. Uzomaki shoots in for a takedown but Tamura shows good takedown defense. Uzomaki closes the distance and clinches up with Tamura, looking for a takedown. Uzomaki pushes Tamura against the ropes but Tamura circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Uzomaki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Uzomaki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Uzomaki trying to control but Tamura is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. You get the feeling that Tamura really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Uzomaki wants to finish this one by submission but Tamura is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Uzomaki. Uzomaki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tamura can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Uzomaki looks gassed! Uzomaki working for a guillotine from mount but Tamura is in no mood to give up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tamura wants to get back to his feet.
Uzomaki has hold of Tamura's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tamura manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tamura really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Uzomaki tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uzomaki misses with a head shot. Uzomaki throwing strikes here but Tamura is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tamura defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Uzomaki. Uzomaki unloads with some shots from mount but Tamura bucks and avoids them well.
Tamura is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Uzomaki working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tamura turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Uzomaki off and cradles Tamura's limp body as Uzomaki celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kenichi Uzomaki!
