Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Rockefeller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brain Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hercules Rockefeller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brain Smasher! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smasher avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Donk. Rockefeller catches Smasher right on the button with a cross. Smasher throws a lazy right hand but Rockefeller sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Smasher throws out a loose jab but Rockefeller uses good head movement to avoid it. Rockefeller keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smasher. Smasher shoots in for a takedown but Rockefeller shows good takedown defense. Rockefeller thuds a left hand into Smasher's body. Smasher shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Smasher lands with a punch from half guard. Rockefeller is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Rockefeller manages to regain half guard. Good work. Smasher not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rockefeller actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rockefeller looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Smasher seems to be working for a kimura but Rockefeller defends the submission attempt. Smasher throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rockefeller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rockefeller. Smasher scoring with some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smasher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rockefeller working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smasher trying to control the position from guard on top but Rockefeller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smasher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Smasher won't allow Rockefeller to sweep him here. Smasher with a flurry of punches that miss.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Donk. Rockefeller catches Smasher right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Brain Smasher has been cut. Smasher throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rockefeller loads up on a big right hand but Smasher slips the punch. Smasher misses with a looping left. Smasher misses with a looping left. Smasher just misses with a punch to the body.
Rockefeller throws a jab when Smasher was well out of range. Rockefeller throws a right and a left that both miss. Rockefeller lands a jab to the nose. Smasher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hercules Rockefeller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smasher tries for a takedown but Rockefeller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Smasher wants to clinch up but Rockefeller keeps it at a distance. Smasher clinches up against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Rockefeller. A frustrated look appears on Smasher's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rockefeller scores with a hook to the body. Smasher looks gassed! Smasher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Smasher blocks an uppercut.

Rockefeller is pressed up against the cage. Smasher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rockefeller down to the mat. Rockefeller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hercules Rockefeller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brain Smasher. Smasher moves out of range as Rockefeller strikes. Smasher walks into a left hand. Rockefeller stuns Smasher with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Smasher slips a jab from Rockefeller. Rockefeller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rockefeller connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Smasher tumbling to the canvas! Rockefeller pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Smasher was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hercules Rockefeller!
