Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Basciano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seyren Windsor! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Basciano throws a right and a left that both miss. Windsor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Basciano is fending him off so far but Windsor persists. Nope, Basciano circles away and we're back to standing. Basciano gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Windsor counters with a nice double leg into guard. Basciano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Windsor forces his way into half guard. Windsor moves into full mount! Basciano won't be happy about that! Windsor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Basciano is surviving well by controlling Windsor's body position as best he can. Windsor has hold of Basciano's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Basciano manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Windsor working for a submission but Basciano is keeping him at bay. Windsor looking to secure an arm triangle but Basciano defends it well. Basciano trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor working for a guillotine from mount but Basciano is in no mood to give up. Basciano is squirming around, avoiding Windsor's attempts to control the action. Basciano really is a fat lump. Windsor looks gassed! Windsor wants to take Basciano's back but he can't do it this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Basciano throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Windsor fails to advance to Basciano's back. Windsor looking to control but Basciano is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Windsor jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Basciano manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Basciano misses with a takedown and Windsor counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Windsor is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Windsor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Basciano's guard. Windsor uses his free foot to push down on Basciano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Basciano. Windsor looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Windsor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Basciano is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Windsor moves to back control. Windsor looking for the RNC. I would not like to be Basciano right now.
Windsor is persistently looking for the submission but Basciano is defending it well.
Windsor looking for the choke from the back. Basciano fending off the submission attempt from Windsor. Basciano looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seyren Windsor dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Seyren Windsor has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor is going olschool here, as he tries to force Basciano to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Basciano shrugs it off. Windsor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Basciano is looking to escape.
Despite being in the dominant position, Seyren Windsor just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Basciano throws a series of punches but Windsor avoids them all with ease. Basciano tries to clinch up and Windsor counters with a shoot takedown. Basciano fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Windsor is pushing down on Basciano's leg trying to pass to half guard. Basciano is fighting to maintain full guard but Windsor has managed to sneak the leg through. Windsor wants to work for an arm triangle but Basciano is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Windsor works his way into side control. Windsor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Basciano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Windsor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Basciano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Windsor trying to control the action but Basciano is working from the bottom. Basciano wants to get back to his feet but Windsor drags him back down. Windsor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Basciano wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Windsor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Basciano keeps working. Windsor controlling the position from side mount. Basciano is not content to let Windsor control the position. Basciano throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Windsor wants to control but Basciano is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Windsor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Basciano is surviving well by controlling Windsor's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seyren Windsor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor working for a guillotine from mount but Basciano is in no mood to give up. Windsor blocks Basciano's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Basciano is looking to improve his position but Windsor isn't that keen on the idea. Windsor takes Basciano's back. Windsor has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Basciano has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Basciano is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Windsor is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Windsor is looking for the choke from the back position but Basciano is controlling his hands well. Basciano staying busy and making it hard for Windsor to control. Basciano tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Windsor is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Basciano can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Windsor prevents Basciano from getting the reversal. Windsor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Basciano is looking to escape. Basciano bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Windsor pushes Basciano off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Basciano throws a nice looking combination but Windsor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Windsor looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Basciano is in trouble now - Windsor has advanced to mount! Windsor working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Windsor has control of Basciano's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Basciano regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Windsor takes Basciano's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Basciano is in trouble. Windsor tightening his grip on Basciano, looking for the choke. Windsor tries to keep control of the position but Basciano is staying busy. Seyren Windsor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Basciano tries to break free.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
