Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wade Winston Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Perry!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson misses with a head kick.
Wilson drops Perry with a beautiful combination! Perry stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wilson is looking for the KO!
It looks like Steve Perry has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Perry with that takedown attempt.
Wilson lands a big head kick that sends Perry tumbling to the mat! Wilson takes a step backwards and waves Perry back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Perry is rocked!
Wilson tries to clinch there but Perry circles away.

Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilson throws a leg kick but Perry sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A head kick misses from Wilson.
Perry drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Perry trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Wilson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilson won't allow Perry to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.
Perry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wilson is keeping the position for now.
Perry thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Perry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Perry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wilson wants to stand but Perry is controlling the position.
Perry is pushing down on Wilson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wilson is fighting to maintain full guard but Perry has managed to sneak the leg through.
Perry is trying for a kimura here. Wilson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Perry wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Steve Perry!
