Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dav Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by england belongs to me . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dav Wolfe! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfe fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wolfe has Steel up against the cage in a clinch.
Wolfe pulls Steel into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Steel's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wolfe has momentary wrist control but Steel slips an elbow through the middle. Steel throwing strikes from guard but Wolfe blocks nicely. Steel is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wolfe is trying to control the position but Steel postures up. Steel is stalling in the full guard. Steel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel throws a strike but Wolfe rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Steel scores with a short punch from the bottom. Steel keeping moving, preventing Wolfe from controlling successfully. Steel working a defensive guard here.
Steel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Steel is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wolfe managing to control the position. Steel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wolfe is keeping the position for now. Steel pushes down on Wolfe's leg and manages to get into half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Wolfe stands up and waves to Steel to follow him. Steel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wolfe! Wolfe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Steel will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Steel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Steel lands in his opponent's guard. Steel postures up in Wolfe's guard and throws a big left but Wolfe blocks it. Wolfe looking for a sweep. Not yet Wolfe, not yet. Steel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Steel throws a big right hand that misses. Wolfe can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steel controls the pace. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfe wants to stand and escape but Steel is having none of it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wolfe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Steel to score an easy takedown into full guard. Steel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wolfe, up you get! Wolfe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Steel counters by moving into the clinch. Steel keeps control of Wolfe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Steel landing knees to the body.

Steel has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wolfe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Steel tries to pull guard but Wolfe won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfe has his takedown stuffed and Steel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steel. Steel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolfe wants to sweep here but Steel controlling him for the moment. Wolfe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel stands up over Wolfe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wolfe shoots and misses and Steel counters by moving into the clinch. Steel jumps guard but Wolfe stands there with Steel around his waist. Steel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wolfe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Steel gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Wolfe thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steel's head. Steel blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wolfe. Wolfe is thwarting Steel's attempts to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wolfe's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wolfe's back! Steel is punishing Wolfe with strikes - can he finish him?! Steel is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Wolfe up.
Wolfe is trying to get back to his feet but Steel has full control of the position and if anything, Wolfe has just worked his way into a worse spot. Wolfe prevents Steel from getting a body triangle. Steel is really struggling to control Wolfe but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wolfe trying to control the hands but Steel breaks the grip. Shane Steel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Steel is riding his opponent, not letting Wolfe buck him off. Steel missing with strikes from the back. Wolfe looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Wolfe manages to reverse the position and now he's in Steel's guard. Nice work there by Wolfe.
Steel is trying to hold Wolfe in close to prevent damage but Wolfe has managed to pass into half guard.
Wolfe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steel keeps working. Shane Steel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wolfe is taking a breather. Steel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Steel manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Steel working a defensive guard but Wolfe manages to pass into side control anyway.
Wolfe controlling the position from side mount. Wolfe tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sloppy strikes there by Wolfe. Dav Wolfe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steel is trying to control Wolfe's posture but Wolfe avoids it. Steel parries the strikes from Wolfe easily there. Wolfe is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Steel to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dav Wolfe. Well Steel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
