The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Shishkin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cabbage manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shishkin has Cabbage in his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alexey Shishkin will probably get the nod.

Shishkin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cabbage is trying to defend but Shishkin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shishkin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
